Our curriculum is designed to foster thought, curiosity and a desire for learning in all pupils, regardless of their backgrounds, strengths and needs. It provides a solid foundation for future learning at every stage and is designed to deliver the rounded educational experience that we seek for every pupil from the start.

We use the Core Knowledge Sequence as the springboard for primary learning in English, Mathematics, Science and Social science. It is based on teaching a body of specific, lasting knowledge to allow children, regardless of background or starting point, to build steadily on what they already know. We have incorporated play, active learning and extended classroom activities into the Core Knowledge Sequence to ensure that pupils can use and apply their developing knowledge.
